THE PRAYER GUY
TEACHING HEALING EQUIPPING MOBILIZING
What if God said yes to your present prayers? Would you be ready to walk it out or could it potentially crush you? Sometimes His yes could expose our uneasiness and unreadiness. Are you sincerely asking according to Matthew 6:33 placing the Kingdom first or does your request put you at the head of the line? Can God trust you with what you are asking? Have you proven yourself with smaller things? Have you been a good steward of the last yes He provided in your life? As you pray for more and wait, perhaps ask for more sustaining strength in your current roles. Ask God to strengthen that which is already strong. Psalm 89:17 says it pleases God to make us strong. Often God’s next yes is far more than just a reward but also adds in new responsibilities with the need for additional patience and endurance to run the race in this new area. Is your capacity at a place that you can quickly add more volume, more personal discipleship and more fruitful qualities to your life that will sustain and build Christian character? God’s next yes is rarely for your comfort. It will frequently be for your calling. Ephesians 4:1 encourages us to walk and live worthy of our calling that God has called us to.
Theology really is about knowing who God is and if I don’t know who God is I won’t really know who I am. And if I don’t know who I am then my goals and aspirations for my life will be on a faulty foundation, something other than the Apostles and Prophets with Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone. I’ve got to have Him as the rock of my salvation, otherwise everything else is sinking sand.

Many people tell me they have never heard from God and or they say they don’t know how to improve their hearing. Start praying these prayers.
Lord sharpen my ears to hear your voice above all others.
Please expose every counterfeit voice that is not from your Kingdom and doesn’t represent You.
Holy Spirit convict me when I’m not spending enough time in the Word to hone my hearing to be attentive to Your written and revealed Word.
Give me wisdom and discernment when responding to Your leading and confirmation from trusted friends.
Give me courage and boldness to say no to those attractions and distractions that pull me away from Your presence and often block my hearing of Your voice.
Align my desires with Your Word so that I discern from purity and not pride.

Less platform. More Presence. If it’s loud, boisterous and self proclaiming but lacks love, it’s just noise. If it’s antidotes, poems and lacks depth, scriptures and anointing, it’s just noise. If it’s not about Jesus, it’s just noise. We aren’t called to entertain. We are chosen to proclaim and compel others to come to the Light and follow Jesus, but some of theses things have become supplemental and have taken a backseat to merch, glitz and glamour. Now it’s more about the look rather than the One we are looking at.
