THE PRAYER GUY
I'm really just an average guy trying to follow my Savior, Jesus. Though I was born and raised in a Christian home near San Diego, California, I consciously became aware of my salvation and dedicated my life to Christ in high school while watching the Reverend Dr. Billy Graham.
In college I studied English and Theology through Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. There, I met my first wife Diane, who was studying to be an early-childhood school teacher. After years of trying to have children, God brought us a miracle son through extraordinary prayer. We were married and in ministry for 41 years before she went home to be with the Lord in January of 2021. Our son Jason is married, ordained as a Pastor, teaches Bible in a Christian k-8 school, and is presently working on his Masters degree in leadership.
I was ordained through Kairos Ministries with Dr. Alan Langstaff in Minnesota.
Before starting the traveling ministry Anointed 2 Go, I served in church ministry in a variety of leadership positions including Church Planter and Senior Pastor in three states.
I launched a city-wide initiative, Transformation Omaha, plus led three city-wide pastoral prayer groups.
I met my wife Rebecca while leading a prayer seminar at a local Omaha church. She is an anointed teacher, prophetic intercessor, and Biblical Counselor. She currently works as School Counselor in a Christian school and is pursuing her Doctorate.
Today I'm a motivational speaker, teacher, and prayer leader. I've done presentations in over 2200 venues including 66 Christian denominations, businesses, schools, camps, universities and more. I've written and published several books and I'm the host of "Directions" Television available on YouTube.
I am a bi-partisan intercessor who meets regularly with political leaders at the local, state and national level for encouragement and prayer. I am personal friends with and have met with several Governors, Senators, Congressman, Ambassadors, Presidential Cabinet Members, the Vice President of the United States, Federal Judges, State Supreme Court Judges, Police Chiefs, Mayors and many other public servants.
I have hosted the National Day of Prayer breakfast in Omaha for two years, and I've been the NDP guest speaker in several cities and capitals.
In Washington D.C. I've been honored to lead the prayer ministry offered at the International Freedom of Religion Summit, and serve on the host team for the National Prayer Breakfast.
