CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH JAY W. WEST
Prayer support is vital to advance the Kingdom. It's my honor to present, lead prayer, and/or mobilize prayer teams at events.
Teaching Healing Equipping
My two main criteria for accepting invitations to minister to churches or groups are "need" and "hunger". Have you become aware of how desperately we all need him? Most people understand need but not all understand hunger. Psalm 34:8 says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good". Are you hungry for more of God? There's more.

2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Prayer support at events that advance the Kingdom is vital. I prayerfully plan, organize, and mobilize prayer teams, both remote and onsite for events. Recently I was the prayer director for the International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington DC. Additionally I am honored to help coordinate, facilitate, or be a presenter at prayer events like National Day of Prayer or capital prayer gatherings across the country, prayer zoom calls, or conferences.
FOR CHURCHES, MINISTRIES OR SMALL GROUPS
It’s my honor and privilege to minister to you and your group. I look forward to what the Holy Spirit plans to impart to His people. Most churches and groups have me in once or twice a year, sometimes more and I enjoy returning year after year as friendships cultivate. If this is my first visit with you, my hope is to continue and see the fruits and gifts of the Spirit develop in your congregation. Please contact me to discuss dates and other details. The following information addresses the most frequent Q&A’s to help make the most of our time together.
TYPES OF GROUP SERVICES
Types of services may include a combination of preaching, equipping workshops, small group consultation, leading intercessory prayer meetings, and healing prayer services. Typically a time of praise & worship is provided by the hosting group. teaching with the Word and testimonies, seeking the Lord together, then ending with group and/or individual prayer ministry.
TOPICS FREQUENTLY TAUGHT INCLUDE
I will be praying and asking the Lord what He wants to teach your group. You also can request topics. Common themes include renewal/revival, the anointing, power encounters with God, miracles, healing testimonies, how to pray for the sick, hearing God’s voice, evangelism & outreach, equipping the saints, fruits of the spirit, spiritual gifts, prophesy, etc.
ESTABLISHING, GROWING & NURTURING EFFECTIVE PRAYER MINISTRY AT YOUR CHURCH
Quoting Isaiah, Jesus says in Matthew 21:13, " ... my house shall be called a house of prayer ..." Prayer ministry is a special topic for the Body of Christ that my wife Rebecca, a Christian counselor and prayer intercessor, and I do together. We use scripture and extensive experience in prayer ministries to help churches develop, nurture, and mobilize a healthy and effective prayer ministry. We offer ongoing mentoring that goes further than a prayer infusion weekend. We want to see you be successful. We want to see your community change. We desire to walk with you to create a culture of prayer that works.

PERSONAL PRAYER MINISTRY DURING A CHURCH VISIT
It is my sincere desire that every person in attendance have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. How and when the Lord does this is up to Him. At a healing service, after a brief time of teaching and testimonies, prayer ministry is offered to all in a manner approved by the leadership. Individual prayer ministry not only depends on the size of the gathering but how long people are willing to stay. I sometimes like to include the hosting church elders/prayer team to help when needed so everyone who desires gets attended to personally. I may pray for people in groups based on different categories as well as some individuals as led by the Lord, especially those with life threatening diseases. Often it’s best to just trust the Lord to lead each personal prayer, perhaps allowing a brief request but not a lengthy or complex story. People can then relax and receive, plus they are often pleasantly surprised at the accuracy prayed for them. If a highly complex or lengthy prayer request arises, I may gently and respectfully point them back to the hosting pastoral team for counseling support and continued discipleship as needed. If my wife Rebecca attends, we often pray as a team.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? LOVE OFFERING OR SET HONORARIUM ?
While yes, this is how I make a living, I work for God and not for money. If your congregation has financial need, I will still come at my own expense as the Lord leads. I’ve done it many times. That said, most congregations cover travel expenses and either pay me a set honorarium or do love offerings at each service. Sometimes in generous cases the host does a combination of both.
However you decide, I only ask for the offering to go home with me in the form of one check made out to Anointed 2 Go. It’s best for me to not carry cash when traveling, but instead to have offerings of checks and cash go to the church, then the church write one check to Anointed 2 Go. Individuals may also donate through Venmo to “Jaywonderfulwest” (since we discovered Jay West is common name on Venmo, a friend gave me this nickname).
If reimbursing me for travel expenses, I ask the reimbursement be sent within 2 weeks so I can promptly pay off any balance on my card.
I have authored several books filled with Scripture, testimonies, and reflection questions for personal application or group discussion. If I'm driving to your location I can bring books with me. Otherwise I normally take orders with a sign up sheet and mail them to the church office after the event.
LOGISTICAL TRAVEL INFO
TRANSPORTATION
Typically the host reimburses me for my travel expenses, but how they are covered or shared is all negotiable. If relatively close to Omaha, I may save the expense of airfare and drive. If driving is not feasible, I purchase the airfare, mindful of your Kingdom dollars and your convenience with my arrival and departure times.
Additionally to save on the cost of uber or car rental, typically all ground transportation is provided by the hosting pastor or delegated leaders.
LODGING
Most groups save the expense of a hotel by putting me in the pastor’s or ministry leader’s home. This works best when the hosts have a quiet home with ample space, preferably my own bathroom, a closet to hang up a few clothing items, and since I’m a pretty tall guy (6’7’’), at least a queen size bed. Please do not host me in a single women's home to avoid any negative appearance as a faithfully married man. When this option is not feasible, I can book a nearby hotel, comparable to a Holiday Inn Express.
MEALS
To save on meals, it is perfectly acceptable to have home cooked meals by the hosting family. I am most grateful for whatever is prepared. I have one request and a few preferences to maintain a healthy weight - continential or fully cooked breakfast is important to start my day along with a hot cup of coffee with flavored cream (bonus - a local coffee shop).
I typically avoid the following foods: Tuna, Oysters, Liver, Sushi. and Red Sauce
DOWN TIME, SITE SEEING
Many hosts ask if during some down time I would like a tour of the city or to do some entertaining site seeing. While this is a gracious offer, I am not coming for a vacation. I am coming to serve, seek the Lord, and pray for you and your team. Leaders are busy. Please don’t feel as if you have to entertain me and it’s okay if you have appointments or other issues to address that require your attention.
DRESS
Most places these days speakers dress very casually (jeans, khaki's, polos), but some groups prefer something a little dressier. Please advise so I pack accordingly and honor the culture you have established.
HOW TO BEST PREPARE FOR THE VISIT
1. Start by initiating regular prayer several weeks before the event.
2. Try not to have many competing options for people to attend while I am there. For the best Kingdom value and results, please make my visit a priority for the selected dates.
3. How you communicate the event to your people is very important. After determining the weekend schedule, encourage attendance and advertise at least 2-3 weeks in advance.
4. Having skilled/anointed worship leaders is so valuable. Worship invites His presence and helps us clear our minds to draw near to God before the teachings and testimonies. If possible, schedule worship leaders for each service.
5. If the size of the group is large, having your elders and/or prayer team in attendance and ready to serve if called upon is very helpful to ensure all members of your group are ministered to.
6. I normally preach 30-45 minutes on a Sunday morning. I'm there to serve you so if less time is desired, please advise me in advance.
7. When books are made available, having a display table in a prominent location is helpful.
8. Try to work out as many logistical details beforehand as possible.
PERSONAL PRAYER WITH INDIVIDUAL PUBLIC SERVANTS & POLITICAL LEADERS
1 Timothy 2:1-2 "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."
I am a bi-partisan intercessor and frequently meet with political leaders on the local, state, and national level. I offer prayer, not opinions, not agendas, but prayer for confidential concerns, so elected officials can do their jobs with diligence, wisdom, and skill in the power of the Holy Spirit. Please contact me to set up your appointment.
